Outlook Express

  1. Open Outlook Express
  2. Click on Tools
  3. Click on Accounts
  4. Click on the Mail tab
  5. Ensure your mail account is highlighted and click on Properties
    • Click on Servers tab
    • Under the Outgoing Mail Server section, ensure there is a check in the box next to My server requires authentication. If there is no check there, click on the box and it will apply the check.
  6. Click OK
  7. Click Close
  8. Close and restart your Outlook Express program.
