Document Actions

To create an identity in Outlook Express:

  1. Open Outlook Express.
  2. Click on File
  3. Click on Identities
  4. Click on add new identities.
  5. Type a name for the user
  6. Click OK

You will be asked if you would like to switch to that identity now?

  1. Click Yes-(Note: You have the option of creating a password for the identity, but if forgotten, technical support will not be able to assist you.)
  2. This will shutdown Outlook Express
  3. Upon reopening, a Wizard is displayed, enter the e-mail address information

Once the identity is added-you can switch identities by:

  1. Click on File
  2. Click on Switch Identity
  3. Select the identity you would like to switch to.
  4. Click OK.

Once again, this will shutdown Outlook Express and reopen to the selected identity.

You have now created an identity and know how to switch an identity in Outlook Express.
