Installing QuickLink (Quick Link) Mobile Software

Issue

Steps to install the CD with the Edge PCMCIA card or Data Cable. Quicklink (Quick Link) software is used with either the PCMCIA card or the data cables.

If image from Step 2 does not appear, then start with step 1.
1. Do the following actions: Click the left mouse on the Start button Click the left mouse on the word Run Browse to the CD (normally the D drive) Find and click on the Start .exe file Click on the Okay button
2. Click on Step 1. Install QuickLink Mobile
3. Click on the Next button
4. Click in the circle next to the words, "I agree with this software license agreement" 5. Then click on the Next button
6. Click on the Next button
7. Click on the Next button
8. You will see a loading screen, this requires no action by you.
9. Click on the Next button.
10. On this screen you can check for updates or Click on the Next button
10 a. If you checked for update, you should see this screen.
11. Click on the Next button.
12. Click on the Next button.
13. Click on the next button.
14. Click in the circle next to the device you are installing: If installing the PCMCIA card, select PC Card. If installing the data cable, select the USB port. 15. Then click on the Next button
16. Insert your PCMCIA card. If installing the data cable, you will not see this step.
17. Notice informing you the card is inserted. If installing the data cable, you will not see this step.
18. Click on the Next button. If installing the data cable, you will not see this step.
19. Notice that your system is searching.
20. Click on the Next button.
21. Click on the Next button.
22. You may test the device, by clicking on the Test Device button, or after test is finished, click on the Next button.
23. If you want the program to start when turning on your computer, click in the square box, and / or the click on the Restart button.
24. This will restart your computer, you should see a new shortcut icon (picture) on your desk top. Click on the icon to start the program.
