Steps for Macintosh users to change their DNS settings.

Macintosh OS8 and OS9

Click on the Apple menu,
Click on the Control Panels link
Click on the TCP/IP link
Dialup Users Cable Modem and DSL Users scroll down or click on cable modem or DSL.

 

Select PPP

Then select Using PPP Server
In the Name Server Addr box type: 209.165.131.12 and 209.165.131.13
In the Search domains box type: gci.net
To exit, click on the box in the top left corner and then select Yes.  
Cable Modem Users:  
Select Ethernet

Select Using DHCP Server

 

No entry should be required.

To exit, click on the box in the top left corner and then select Yes.  
DSL Users  
Select Ethernet
Select Manually

In the Name Server Addr box type:

209.165.131.12 and

209.165.131.13

In the Search domains box type: gci.net
To exit, click on the box in the top left corner and then select Yes.  

 

OSX

Click on the Apple menu
Click on System Preferences.
Click on the Network icon (picture)
Click on the TCP / IP tab

In the Domain Name Servers text box enter:

209.165.131.12 and

209.165.131.13

In the Search Domains text box enter: gci.net
Click the Apply Now or Save button (term depends on exact version on OS)
To Exit click the apple in the top left corner  
Click on the Yes button.
