Steps to update your Microsoft Operating System.

1. Click on the link shown on the right, or enter the address into a browser. http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
2. Click on the Scan for Updates green arrow.
3. You will receive a message, similar to one shown. This example shows Windows 2000 Operating System, if your Operating system is XP it will show XP.
4. Click on the Install Now button.
5. Press the Accept button on the End Users License Agreement.
6. This starts the download and update to your computer.
7. When this is complete, you will need to restart your computer.
You are updated with this patch! You should visit Microsoft's update page frequently to ensure your system has all critical patches released by Microsoft.
