| 1. Click on the link shown on the right, or enter the address into a browser. | http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ |
| 2. Click on the Scan for Updates green arrow. | |
| 3. You will receive a message, similar to one shown. This example shows Windows 2000 Operating System, if your Operating system is XP it will show XP. | |
| 4. Click on the Install Now button. | |
| 5. Press the Accept button on the End Users License Agreement. | |
| 6. This starts the download and update to your computer. | |
| 7. When this is complete, you will need to restart your computer. | |
| You are updated with this patch! You should visit Microsoft's update page frequently to ensure your system has all critical patches released by Microsoft. | |
