Connecting Your Digital Converter

1. Connect the digital converter to the TV and/or VCR as shown in the diagrams below.

2. Plug the digital converter into the wall outlet and turn the converter on so the channel number appears in the display. For digital converters without a display, user your universal remote, and ensure that the red light denotes that power is on the box.

3. It can take up to 2 hours for all the TV programs listings to appear in the interactive program guide.

4. Tune the TV and VCR codes to channel 3 (channel 4 in Juneau). Now the channels will be changed on the digital converter using the universal remote.

5. Using the TV and VCR codes in the universal remote manual you can program your universal remote to control both the TV and VCR. Still have questions? Call your GCI office.
