How do I install my BlackBerry Desktop Manager for the Internet Solution

Provides steps on installing software for the BlackBerry Internet Solution
Overview
Issue
Ensuring the customer selects the correct option when installing the Desktop Manager software to support the BlackBerry Internet Solution.
How to:
| 1. Install the CD disk into your computer | /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// |
| 2. It should auto start, if it does not auto start then follow directions according to your computer to start a CD. | /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// |
3. Select Language from the drop down list |

| 3a. You will see the following items on your screen. |  |

| 4. That displays the InstallShield Wizard. Click Next |  |
5. Select Country or Region from the Drop down box: USA (English) Then click Next |
 |
6. Please review the License Agreement. Click in the circle next to the the statement "I accept the terms in the license agreement" Then click Next |
 |
7. Complete the Customer Information Screen: User Name: Enter your name Organization: Enter business name (if applicable) or Home Use Select one of the two circles: Recommended is the circle next to "Anyone who uses this computer (all users)" Click Next |

8. Normally just click Next GCI recommends leaving the default location. If you need to change the location, click the Change button, and enter the path and folder name. Be sure to remember where you place it.

8. Ensure the "Typical" installation is selected. Click Next |

9. !! CRITICAL STEP !! The default check is for The BlackBerry Enterprise Sever of Black Berry Desktop Redirector - If you are using the the BlackBerry Internet Email (You will integrate your email). THIS IS NOT THE OPTION TO CHECK. See step 9a. |

9a. !! CRITICAL STEP !! If signing up for the Internet Email option, select the BlackBerry Internet Email. Option. Click Next |

| 10. Leave the Shortcut items checked and click Next. |  |
| 11. Click on Install |  |
| 12. You will see several screens similar to the on displayed on the left as the software installs. |  |
| 13. After the program has completed installing, click Finish |  |
| 14. You need to restart your computer, click Yes |  |
| After restarting your computer, you will need to associate your desktop applications with the BlackBerry. | /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// |
