Purpose
Provide HP iPAQ (iPAC) device settings for the new GCI Wireless SIM cards.

- Current recommendation is to use Google Maps (it is free) and will work with the phone. GCI does not support the program.
- Microsoft Street Maps is the program intended to be used. Unfortunately there are no maps for Alaska with this program.
Internet settings:
Note: These steps are vail for any Windows Mobile System (HTC Dual Touch, etc)
1. From the front screen, tap Start > Settings
2. Select the Connections tab
3. Tap Connections
4. Under “My ISP”, select add new connection
5. Name the connection: GCI
6. Select modem: Cellular Line (GPRS)
7. Tap Next
8. Access Point Name: web.gci
9. Tap Next
10. Leave user name, password, and domain blank
11. Tap Finish
Multimedia Messages (MMS) settings:
1. From the front screen, tap Start > Settings
2. Select the Connections tab
3. Tap Connections > Choose advanced > Select Networks > New
4. Label the connection: GCI MMS
5. Click the Modem tab
6. Tap New
7. Name the connection: GCI MMS
8. Select modem: Cellular line (GPRS)
9. Tap Next
10. Access Point Name:GCI MMS
11. Tap Next
12. Leave user name, password, and domain blank
13.Tap Finish
14. From the front screen, tap Start > Messaging
15. Select Menu > MMS Configuration/Servers > New
16. Server Name: GCI MMS
17. Gateway: 209.4.229.92
18. Port: 9201
19. Server Address: http://mmsc.gci.csky.us:6672
20. Connect via: Select GCI MMS
21. Tap Ok and Set as default.
