This scanner uses the virus protection component from GCI Security Guard. We invite you to scan your computer to see if you have any viruses and if you do, we will disinfect it too! This service is provided to you FREE from GCI.

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher*
*You may need to enable ActiveX and JavaScript under Tools> Internet Options> Security . You may want to restore your original settings after scanning.


How does it work?
You will be prompted to download the scanning engine. This software will prompt you to accept a certificate and agree to the license terms prior to the install starting. The scanning can take several minutes as it thoroughly checks your computer for viruses and malware so please feel free to continue browsing the Internet while the scanner is doing its work.
